Mar 1, 2010 - Maybe the pyramids and other landmarks were built thousands of years ago as sort of a marking for alien beings to know where everything is. Things like the pyramids, are so strangely made for the time period and match up to a matter of milimetres to the stars. I feel that humans did not build the pyramids aswell as stonehenge purely because of the idea that these rocks/stones/boulders whatever you want to call them are known to be pretty much impossible to move by man.

Its easier to control the modern populace by means of propaganda and mind control than by physical means. Consumerism also makes a nice distraction from reality. And prostitution existed then too. Also look at the huge buildings they built and land they developed. They weren't as environmentally conscious as you say. It's just that there was a lot less people back then. The same problems that exist today existed then. crime, war, hatred, etc. Don't you research before posting??

Mar 6, 2010 - I always said the same thing. To me it's one of two things. 1- Landing docks for space travelers or a way to reach the Sirius star system. Either way you look at it, it has something to do with space travel. They are too sophisticated to just be something built for an unknown purpose. The government knows this. But it can be done.Sometimes i think Egypt is more about protecting its 'known' legacy at the expensive of expanding knowledge about the region and its history.Ill be honest. The more I look at it I really cant accept that the pyramids were built by Egypt. The more we learn the less likely it becomes. The same goes for the sphinx. The sphinx looks much older than everything else.

Mar 12, 2010 - The statues look well maintained and all the decored pillars.But the sphinx and the pyramids themselves look much older than other standing monuments in Eqypt.It could be that early Egyptians thought the pyramids and the Sphinx came from the gods.Egypt had a bad habit of leaving out things to make itself look bigger and better than it actually was.It was a beautiful culture but they wiped all traces of certain things to their benefit.
